This course is a 10 day (2 weeks Monday-Friday) course. Its designed for students that require a longer period than a one week fast track course and will also include a 2 day cut throat shaving course with certificate of completion.

The course will include:

• Scissor skills, working on training blocks to practise and perfect the fundamental scissor cuts, One length, square layering, round layering, scissor over comb, reverse layering etc.
• Clipper work: working with guards, clipper over comb, working without guards, trimmer work and line ups.
• Fading: Various techniques of fading, working down the guards, fading guard free, fade line placement, use and maintenance of clippers.
• Moving on to live clients with the guidance of an experienced educator.
• Shampoo theory and practice.
• Wet (cut throat) shaving : To include skin analysis and contra indications, skin care and skin preparation, the full shaving system, aftercare and aftersales theory.
• Certificate awarded on successful completion of shave course.
• And lots, lots more !

An HFM Academy Shoreditch certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the two week course which is fully insurable for the skills that you have achieved and been certificated for.
